i got annoyed with this diet. not quitting, but modifying it b/c i can't take the carb crash. my plan is to lemonade as much of the day as possible and then have a small healthy meal. |

the cayenne is almost too much for me... tomorrow i shall use less of it... i'm not hungry yet, but i am craving some pasta salad like i can't live w/o it... my mind keeps wandering to thoughts of pasta salad with some triscuits...
i can do this... it's worth it... but i can't stop thinking about pasta salad... please tell me the craving stop eventually... |

the salt water thing is AWFUL!!! and juicing 5 lemons is hard work when you do it by hand...

so the old toybox we had as kids is now in my possession again... it has a circus theme painted all over it and it needs to be updated safety-wise... we're trying to figure out exactly how we plan to give it a makeover.. it will require the purchase of at least one power tool and a few minor items... it shall look more pirate-ish when we finally get through with it... |

so, tonight we moved the crib and put the crib mattress on the floor.... we shall see how this goes... now the trick is to remember to close the gates at night and not leave things where he can get to them... |

i've been feeling crafty lately... besides the awesome curtains for dreaken's room (which are done), i'm out of ideas... i have a few yards of the pirate fabric lefft over and i'm trying to decide what to do with it... billy's idea was to make padded bumper things for the futon since it will be dreaken's bed very soon... i can definitely do that, but i'm not sure what else i can do with that fabric... i also need to locate a decently soft and decently priced RED futon cover... and/or some cute pirate bedsheets/blanket set... |

Stefanie Wetmore had a pretty good birthday... except for the fact that my sewing machine tried to stab me in the eye... it's a long story, but it resulted in me buying a new sewing machine... |

Stefanie Wetmore thought the potty training wasn't going well (he peed on himself, the floor, and even my computer), but later on he did finally tell me he had to potty... unfortunately, we didn't make it to the potty in time, but he's picked up the idea at least...
EDIT: i have found the exact same kind of boots that i wore to prom... i bought them... i intend to wear them at my wedding (just b/c i can)...

i'm becoming somewhat tempted to just shut down my LJ, seeing as people don't read/comment as much as they used to... maybe my life is just that boring these days or something... anyhow, don't be terribly surprised if i do shut my LJ down for good... |

surgery went well... they found a second hernia, so they repaired both of them... dreaken woke up screaming his head off and didn't stop until we were part way home... he spent the next 4 hours running about and being wild, followed by a 4 hour nap... now he's awake again and being wild... the doc wrote a prescription for vicodin, so dreaken is pretty darned loopy...
we're pretty tired (except for dreaken) so we're headed for bed (and hoping that dreaken will sleep if he's in with us)... |
